System Requirements

• Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista
• Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
• Monitor supporting resolutions of at least 1280x1024 (It works in other formats, but this is the ideal)
• 100MB hard drive space

Raven Evolved Installation Instructions

• Raven Evolved requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0. The Framework is free. You must install this for Raven Evolved to work. You only need to install this once, and you may already have it on your computer if you’ve installed anything that requires it.
• Download the seporate files on the home page, or the full install. After it Downloads, run the installer.
• When installing Evolved, you have the ability to install it anywhere you want. Be very careful, though, when installing the Image sets. You must install the images to “Raven EvolvedImages” If you simply use the default install location for all the installs, everything will be in the right place. If you don’t see card images when opening decks, copy over all the images into the Raven EvolvedImages directory.
  

The Rookery

• The Raven Radio has been upgraded. It has been renamed "The Rookery" and the name says it all. There is an option in Raven Evolved to connect to The Rookery.
• You can now hook up and play a game with someone in the Rookery without having to configure Port Forwarding on your router if you want to be the server for a game.
• The Rookery now hosts and acts as a pass-through for all Raven games. Port Forwarding? Who needs it? Just jump in and start a game!

Other Information

• Raven Evolved is, like its predecessor, under the 6-month restriction rule FFG mandated. After a new set is released in print, I am able to add the cards to Raven Evolved 6 months later.
• You cannot add cards to the database. Raven Evolved will not recognize them and won't allow you to play them. (Enforcing the 6 month rule.)
• Raven for Macintosh? Well, if the .NET Framework is ever ported to Mac OS, Raven Evolved will run just fine on it. Any OS that supports the .NET Framework now and in the future will be compatible with Raven evolved.

Donations

• A lot of people have asked me to include a way to make a donation. Reluctantly, I have added this to Raven Evolved. You can find the link on the Help menu in-game as well as on the About screen. Donations are not, of course, mandatory, there are no annoying screens popping up in your face about donating. I will continue to support Evolved without any donations whatsoever. I’ll use any donations to help find a permanent home for The Rookery.
