Playing a Draft is simple.

1) The first thing you need to do is log in to www.gotraven.com.

2) You must be registered, if not register.

3) Go ahead a log in.

4) There you will see a summary of your game. You can see who you are waiting on to draft, you see what cards you have drafted, or draft yourself. It will tell you how many boosters are waiting, or if you are ready to open a new booster pack.

5) To pick a card, you click on the circle next to the card, and then pass – that’s it! If you want a better look at the card, just click on the card, and an enlarge picture will come up. Close out of that window to go back to the draft.

6) If you have more than one booster waiting, after you pick a card it will go to the next booster automatically.

Remember:

1) You need to find a group of people to play with. There is not a continual draft going.

2) We need to know who is in the draft, and what boosters you want to draft, and then Chad or I can set the draft up.

3) All players that you want to draft with have to be members of the draft site.

4) If you are looking for players, please visit the website to find a list.

Administrators:

1) First you have to get the rights to be an administrator. You get that by writing me. We are careful of who is, cause the have the power to screw up someone’s draft.

2) Once you have been given administrator privileges, you will se a link on the top right that say “UsrName Admin” – click on that.

3) Here you will pick how many players there will be in the draft you are setting up, and how many boosters you will be drafting - Click Submit.

4) Here you get to choose who the players are, and from what set the boosters are. Then you can click Submit, and whala – you and your players are ready to draft!

Finished Drafting, Downloading:

After you are done drafting, in the area that you can see the cards you drafted (View my Cards) there will be a new link for you to click on “Download Deck”!

You must have the latest download of Raven

You can name the file you download anything you want (downloading occurs after a draft is complete), but DO NOT change the .drft extension! Save the file into your c:agotdecks directory. Click the "Booster Draft" button on the first window of Raven to open the draft window. You'll see all *.drft decks in the right, top listbox. Double-click it to open it. The listbox to the left will display all the cards in your draft deck.

Simply double-click the cards to add them to your decks. It will know whether or not it's a plot card or a play card and pop them into the appropriate listboxs below. If you click the "Sort by House" button, you can see all the cards in your draft deck by house. Don't double-click the -----Stark----- or other house lines as it will crash Raven. Sorry. When you are done building your decks, click the Save Draft Decks button. This will save 3 files. Your deck, your plot deck, and a deck with all the cards you didn't use.

When you play a tourney game with someone, simply choose your drafted decks as you would any other decks. But you also need to check the "This is a Booster Draft" checkbox just below the server button. This will check all 3 decks against a checksum to make sure you didn't add any cards to your deck.

When Raven loads, you'll see a message from your opponent that says something like this:
"Tamoron's booster decks passed CheckSum: 122461409 - cT&Gh"

If you don't see a message like that, you might want to restart your game and have your opponent check the "This is a Booster Draft" checkbox to make sure his decks are clean.

Also, Raven will only keep track of 1 booster draft right now, so if you download another booster draft pack and build new decks, it'll mess up the CheckSum on your old one. You can still play the decks and leave that box unchecked, though. No problem.
